Yeah, I ran with mine plastered. I avoided trails and hills for weeks after it came out though. I never ran roads so that was ok. I’d be looking for nice flat grass, so local municipal football fields and the likes.
If I were you I’d try the run you were going for and see how far I could get and then use that time to drop back onto the programme at a point I could deal with.
I broke mine in March ( slipped in the snow) and had surgery to 're wire the bones - trust me to make a proper mess of it😁
Wrist was ok once out of cast ( long time where i was completely useless at everything ) but due to such a long period with not a lot of movement I lost some use of my upper arm muscles - it's getting better with physio but I still struggle to do anything other than light stuff with that arm.
It was one of the reasons I started c25k as was inactive for such a long time I had to get moving lol
I never really thought about it affecting how I did runs - just have to be careful not to swing my arms too much - as that still hurts.
