Morning all! All through the program I’ve managed to make time to do all the runs with a days rest between, but today was W5R2 and I couldn’t complete the second 8 minute run. Head went astray a bit, breathing out of sync and in the end just walked the route. Anyone else struggle at this stage?

Morning! Don’t worry, it happens sometimes. It’s quite a big jump up to 8 minutes and sometimes you’re just not ready.

Just take an additional rest day if you feel you need it, and attempt the run again next time. You’ll be fine, and we’re here to help! 💪🏻👍🏻😀

First run that’s fought back. Good effort this morning, you’ll nail it in 2 days.

No worries..it happens... makes sure you are upping some of your rest day exercise a bit... and then head out again.. slower... and slower still.. You will do this..:)

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. I think it’s just a mental block because this was the first run I was really not looking forward to. It’s been quite easy so far so maybe I just needed taking down a peg or two 😂 This won’t beat me 💪🏻😅

Yes, I had to re-do this one, as I had a bit of a disaster with it. Pleased to say I did it second time round and, so far, it's been onwards and upwards since then. Keep at it though, you'll get there! Good luck 😊
