I get shin pain odd time and I'm on week 3. Good fitting shoes is a must and I rest up and drink plenty of fluids on rest days.

Do you wait until pain fully subsides or do you go for next run when it has eased enough to let you. I resemble a penguin at the moment so dont think it will be today 😂

Luckily mine only lasts a few hours after. I also had a post up yesterday about shin pain and was advised on the shoes and fluids. I'm not sure if you should run if it's really bad. Hopefully someone who knows about it will comment as I would be interested also x

Shin pain is awful! I got it on my first round of c25k but not this time. This time though I have proper running shoes. Also try keep your feet as relaxed as possible kicking them out in front of you as you walk.

I hope you find a solution as it’s so uncomfortable and sore 😞
