After a week of excuses I got out there this morning and ENJOYED yes ENJOYED my slow but steady 35 minute ‘run’ . I have really struggled since starting to track distance with motivation as when I worked through and completed the programme I never bothered tracking and just assumed the 30 mins would equal 5K. I can’t understand why one part of my brain thinks the distance is so important whilst the other is screaming you go girl you are running for 30+ minutes and not lying on the 🛋. Anyway my Fitbit is saying my pace today was 9’25 per Km so I’m happy with the 3.74K. More importantly I’m back🐢

I think the enjoyment part rates far higher than time or distance. If you're enjoying it the rest will follow I'm sure. Happy running!

35 minutes is a long time to run, and 'slow and steady' is exactly what everyone advises on here, so you're doing all the right things! Good luck and happy running!
Id keep listening to the cheer leader. She's fun. That fit bit matron should only come out once a month or something like that.
