A graduation run and .5lb

Tonight I went out and completed c25k, again. As a two time graduate who did round 1 on a treadmill and round 2 in the great outdoors I can safely say that you must do what is right for you in the season of your life. Last year the treadmill gave me the confidence in my ability without putting myself out there. Not sure I could have done it outside back then but I’m so glad I did it this time.

The .5lb in the post title refers to the figure I need to lose to hit a 2 stone weight loss.

I’m so looking forward to where this running and weight loss journey might take me but one thing I know, I’ll be accompanied by you all.

Proud member of the 🐌 club!

Wow you did it twice! Congratulations! And almost 2 stones lost too. Running outdoors is so liberating - hope you enjoyed it. Give yourself a huge pat on the back!

I have thanks. Moving on was my downfall last time so I won’t be making the same mistake

A double graduate! :) Did you start your second go straight after the first one? Did you find it a lot easier or was it still toughish because of running outdoors?

After the treadmill I found it really hard to move outside. I didn’t think I would be able to do the 30 minutes so I went back to week 4 and then didn’t get much further. So there was an eight month gap between the two. This time has been ‘mind’ easier because I knew I could do each week although but body tough because of fitness and weight. But the weight loss has help!
