So this morning I managed to completed Day 1, even though it's been a couple of years since I did this last time it didn't feel too bad. Shame my fitbit didn't sync to Strava πŸ™„πŸ˜‚πŸ‘Œ

Well done for starting C25K again!; that decision to get up and out is the hardest bit...I know...I was there too a few weeks back. Keep going and don’t give up. Good luck and happy running!

Well done!

I have had lots of issues with Fitbit, GPS just being one of them. Fitbit will only sync to Strava if it has managed to collect GPS data because Strava won't accept records without GPS. On the other hand Endomondo will, so I have connected my Fitbit to both in order to have full records on Endomondo even if Strava fails, so that I will not lose everything if I finally decide that Fitbit is giving me too much grief and move to another brand.

If your Fitbit uses connected GPS from the phone, like mine does, you need to make sure that the GPS does hook in with the Fitbit itself. That means starting the run from the Fitbit itself not from the phone app. To have connected GPS, you need both location and bluetooth to be on, and the phone app has to be on as well all the time, even though you start the run from the Fitbit. A number of people also recommend you should turn off wifi as that sometimes interferes with things. I found out all of these things from posts on the Fitbit forums. It now works for me most of the time, but occasionally the GPS will still fail.
