Graduated this morn while on holiday and kept going to complete 5k in 33:54 hooray! So happy to have made it through to the end, the challenge now is to keep up the running and make this a long term change in lifestyle. Can't praise this program enough, it is a brilliant way to get into running and improve fitness. The transition from week to week is just challenging enough so you never feel out of your depth. Have loved every minute! π πββοΈ π

I did it! W9R3 and 5k!!!!

Wow! That is fantastic and what a brilliant speed for the 5k too. Well done. I read somewhere that 12 is the magic number for changing habits so I'm going to do 3 weeks of consolidation before deciding on my next step. Maybe a park run? You're Park run ready already! πββοΈππ

Congratulations! Hope you will celebrate

Congratulations! Be proud of yourself, especially going to complete the 5 at the end there too.

Fabulous, well done! Great time too

Well done! That's brilliant to hear, and I'll bet you feel as proud as you do achey!

Thatβs great, I had a similar experience on my graduation run in that I kept going to my first 5k but I had to keep going a bit longer than you! What a time for your first 5k, well done! Iβm at the consolidation stage now, just trying to make 5k runs a habit, not looking to make dramatic improvements in distance or speed any time soon. Going to parkrun on Saturday- my third, but the first that Iβll aim to run all the way. Absolutely agree with Robertβs recommendation about parkrun, worth making it a regular thing in your routine if you can.

Park run is definitely on the cards!
