Hi everyone, I am new to this and I just completed my first week and I loved it! However I started feeling pain in my left Achilles. The pain is only there when I am cold. Once warmed up it is fine. Anyone else had the same problem?

Everyone gets new runner niggles. It’s expected, goes with the territory, and is true for any new exertion Which is why you do the sessions very slowly. With care you’ll be fine
As you keep, running , having your non -run rest day, together with your other exercise (oh yes 😁) you’ll get stronger, and the niggles should bog off
Most problems arise as folks get too confident and starting being too heavy on the gas. Don’t let that be you 😃👍

Welcome and well done mailing that first week, it’s not easy.
Miss wobble is spot on, aches and some pains are part of the process. Slowly is the way to go.
Enjoy week 2

Aches and pains are normal.. and we do get to recognise the difference between them and real, intense pain.
Each run as misswobble says, make you stronger... warm up really well and stretch after every run too.
Slow and steady you will be fine.. well done you!

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Any pain that persists should be checked out by a health professional, but minor niggles are to be expected.
Enjoy your journey.
