I’d say unless you have pain anywhere you should be fine to run tomorrow. At least cycling is low impact, you just might feel slightly heavier in the legs. Maybe be more snail than gazelle when you run!

Good luck with W8. You’re so close to graduation now! 😀😀

Absolutely go for it tomorrow - cycling is a good thing to do on a rest day.

I've been doing some 10-20 mile cycle rides in between runs through weeks 6 and 7 and found it fine. My understanding is that cycling is okay on the running rest day. Sometimes after the ride I wonder how my legs will manage the following day but somehow it has been fine and really really good fun! :-)

It sure is... cycling is excellent cross training.

Oh, and Manchester’s not that bad now we have electricity 😂

Well... sometimes I think we expect too much from our athletes, but as a lifelong United fan I can safely say I expect nothing from those athletes this season lol

Do your run... I cycle and run often on the same day :) Enjoy :)

If you are used to doing bike ridesof that distance then you will probably be fine to run tomorrow. If not, you may well find your run harder work, but as a general rule cycling is a great non impact exercise for rest days.

I ride 40 miles some times should I take water on runs week 8 and 9.

There is no need to carry water for any run under an hour if well hydrated in the preceding twenty four hours, unless the temperature is extreme or you have a specific health condition, as detailed in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
