I've felt a lot of pressure this week, entirely self-imposed. Last run of Week8 and first of Week9 were pretty close to the 5K so I really wanted to achieve it by the end of the programme. Slight illness set me back a bit as there were days when running really wasn't a good idea, so I wasn't keeping up the momentum of the first weeks.
Today I went for it, taking a bus to the Meadows, which is flat and has a circuit easy to measure. I can't say I enjoyed all of the run but I did manage just over 5 kilometres in the time, so feel pretty good about that!
So now the pressure is off! For my last run I plan to take a scenic route with hills and all sorts and just enjoy being able to run for a full half hour.
