I graduated two weeks ago I am not doing 5k yet which is fine but I thought of walking it on my rest day would that be ok?

Yes as others have said. The reason you can walk on non-running days is that it is a low impact form of exercise because (unlike running) you always have at least one foot on the ground. Other low impact exercises like swimming are also suitable.

Of course!

I walk everywhere, because I am lucky to live within reach of most things I need. On days when I need to be out of the house doing what needs to be done, I can easily cover 3-6 miles. That includes running days too.
