Walking!

Did my first fast walk today since I started and finished C25K. I love walking but I just didn't have the legs during C25K on my rest days to walk anything other than a couple of slow miles.

So, a 5k walk in 42.5 minutes (only 5 minutes slower than my only 5k jog!). That would have taken me at least 5 minutes longer before C25K, so more evidence this plan has had a great impact on my fitness.

Thanks. I do prefer walking right now. I will still put my 3 weekly runs in but it's nice to know I can do a faster / longer walk inbetween!

Thank you! I love walking and have always walked fast. My wife hates it!

Blimey, you should walk a parkrun - you'd beat a lot of the runners! I find a long walk (10k+) really helps on rest days - always try to fit one in if I have time. But nowhere near as fast as that!
