So, today I am laid up not even able to keep water down. What am I thinking about? a) how soon can I run again (tomorrow?) and b) how do I restore some fitness (i.e. nutrition) quickly? I’m not good at being sick! 🤢

Sorry to hear that.

Apart from anything else, you will have been losing electrolytes as well as fluid through vomiting, so once you can keep down fluids, you should aim to replace the electrolytes, e.g. with sports drinks. This is as important as fluid intake for proper hydration.

I have been. All day! Kids happy as they have non-nagging Xbox time.

Oh if I exterminate anything from the planet it would be Fortnite! Aaaargh! Get well. I definitely don’t think you should run tomorrow BTW

Yes, don’t get me started on Fortnite. Today though, it has been my saviour. Sunday it is (hopefully). 🏃🏻‍♀️😘

Look after yourself! You can't run dehydrated and it's hot! When you feel fine for a while day you can run the next day🤢🤢🤢🤢

Get well soon. Go steadier than usual once you’re back and hydrated. Enjoy the sports drinks.

Thank you. Craving salt so just had some crisps. Let’s see if they stay down!

Bless you - hope you feel better soon. It’s no fun - especially in the heat - but you must look after yourself. I’m sure you’ll be up and about in no time. 🤗 🤗 xx

Rest , recover and recharge.... don't run until you are eating and especially drinking water again normally... Relax and feel better soon xxx
