Done several post grad runs and today I pushed on a little and did an extra 5 mins. Am still using the week 9 app runs as a timing device so used the warm down period as the extra 5 and then did 5 mins warm down. Went surprisingly well, little tightness in my right calf but other than that OK. Will stick to a couple of 30 mins next. Gradually beating PF with lots of stretching out so I don't want to push it just yet. Couple of observations though, using this timing method means you have to beat the urge to give up 5 mins before the end when Laura is telling you how well you have done and you are now finished and the other thing that happened was that I actually felt like I got into a rhythm and a bit more natural. So anyone out there who does not feel like a runner yet and its all quite awkward and un-natural it does come in time so keep chipping away!

Hey that’s a great tip! I haven’t graduated yet (4 more runs), but your idea sounds perfect for when I do. Will stick to 30 minutes for a few runs, then add the extra 5 mins.

Thanks for that, and it sounds like you’re doing brilliantly! 👍🏻🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️😀
