I went out late last night, about 9pm, it was nice and cool, ready for day two of week 8, 28 minutes of running. Pleased to say I did really well, 4.3k achieved and I actually felt like a runner! 8 weeks ago I was puffing and blowing after 60 seconds! For anyone on week 1, keep at it, you will get there.

To me week 8 of the programme seems a very long way off. I’m on week 2 need to do run 3 to complete. Everyday is a challenge as I’m on holiday it’s easy to fit the runs in. But when I’m at work I would be juggling my running days, but will be looking forward to the challenges and the small improvements which will no doubt come with every week.

You will do it, my wife’s having a go too and has never run, she’s on week 7 now and is doing great. It is hard the first couple of weeks but does get easier. I find music helps too. I run when I get home from work about 5:30 ish most times. Keep at it!
