Wow! I’m still only signing up for 50, however I only count my runs and not walking. Good luck and enjoy the bling when it arrives πŸ‘ŒπŸ½

You can do it! Walking between runs is excellent. It’s about 2.5 miles a day, you got it.

I signed up with them to do 150 miles on foot (walking + running) in July, have about 7.5 miles left to go over the next three days, My time tally is at 6 hr 32 min running and 51 hr 36 min walking so far :o The logistics have been crazy, for example, going to shop in Sainsbury's rather than the nearer Tesco, and making all sorts of diversions so as to end up with a 5.5 mile round trip rather than the 2.5 miles total for a straight out and back :D I've done three walks of 7-9 miles along the sea front to get some miles in the bank. What kept me going was signing up to Audible and downloading Stephen Fry's wonderful Mythos, read by the man himself, to which I listened on the longer routes. Couldn't ask for a better walking companion!

Thank you! :)

2.4 miles left, which I hope to cover with W8R1 tomorrrow. It's not sustainable for me to do this every month, but the experience has certainly taught me how to incorporate more walking into daily life, which I will continue to do (but to a significantly lesser degree!). It has felt like a long haul and I must admit to feeling tired as it draws to a close. I suppose that's not surprising as 150 miles is equivalent to 5.7 marathons :D

I think the next time I try will be very much further in the future, once I have mastered 10K running. Going for 50 miles running, would mean doing 2x 5K and 1x 10K each week for a month, which again seems like a good challenge, but NOT YET!

Keep us posted with how you're doing.
