On Week 7 and only managed run 1.
Up here in Scotland that big bright yellow thingy doesn't come out very often and when it does we don't normally get much heat from it.
Definitely do not like running in any form of heat and I'm sure my fellow Scots would kill me for this but "bring on the rain ☔️ "
Dougalucy I'm also wanting rain n also in Scotland it's far too hot for me ( car said it was 25oc at 10am this morning) to run and school holidays haven't helped. I've decided to do what I can just now and will properly start back once schools r back.
So I hear it's to rain this weekend- I will wait and see if that actually happens then I might chance it 😂
Yeah my friend went to Ireland to visit his mum recently and said it was unexpectedly dry and sunny hot!! He said “ what’s this mum? Ireland doesn’t do this stuff!!”
Agree with you Dougalucy, the 12 noon temperature where I live in Cumbernauld was 25c/77f, certainly not good for running, this is supposed to be the last day of the heatwave everywhere in the UK, supposed to be thunderstorms somewhere during the next 12 hours, after that we can resume our running in more comfortable temperatures, not sure if I agree with you regarding the rain.

Decided to go for it at 7pm as I knew I would regret it if I didn't,it's very humid so struggled quite a bit, half way round thought I would collapse.
It's done now, officially knackered.
