All the gear no idea!

Been to a running shop this morning and had my running gait assessed. Bought myself some running shoes and a bum bag so I don’t have to shove my phone and keys in a tiny pocket.

Awesome! You’ll look the part and it’ll motivate you at the same time! Have fun! 👍🏻🏃‍♂️😀🏃‍♀️

Lol the trainers are important to be fair because of my previous injury and buying them will also keep me motivated as you say.

Buying some decent running shoes was the best thing I ever did - they are so comfortable I just forget they are on! And as for the bumbag - I personally use a Spibelt, because I have to carry my insulin pump around with me, and all the rest of the normal gear like phone, keys, glucose tablets etc etc. However did we survive before those were invented?

I’ve only got 1 pair of leggings with a pocket and it had no zip so I was paranoid my stuff would fall out lol. At least I look the part!!

You deserve to treat yourself. Bet you are looking forward to your first run in your new shoes, which ones did you get?

The brand is called ON and the shoe is called cloudflyer. Swiss must say I’ve never heard of them before. I also tried on some ASICS, saucony and another brand I can’t remember the name of. These were the comfiest. My next run is Saturday so will let you know how they are!

I've not heard of them either, interesting though. Good luck.

Ah but nice, expensive trainers and a gait analysis means you’re obliged to continue running for the foreseeable 👌🏽
