Good luck. It’s a great programme and App. You’ll love it
You won't. It will be difficult, i'll not lie, but you've got this. You can do it. Just put on foot in front of the other and listen to your trainer.
Good luck. Remember that jogging is fine and it doesn't matter how slow you go. Follow the advice and go at a pace so that you can talk without being out of breath. Being out there working your body will do you good and as you progress in the program the good accumulates.
Take it slowly - really. It might be a bit of a shock to the system but you'll feel really pleased that you did it and tomorrow you have a rest day.
Let us know how you get on. Everyone here wants you to well. You can do it.
Hi no need to worry couch to 5k is a great program and you will be surprised how your fitness improves as the weeks fly by have fun 😊
I felt exactly the same when I started! The best advice is to just follow the program completely....it works....take your time, do as it tells you and amaze yourself!! Well done for starting C25K! Keep us posted 👍🏻😃
Delight not dread...slow..steady...and enjoy.
Many have gone before you..many will follow you...but all of us run with you...
You are going to love this😊
I completed week 1 on Tuesday. Awful! So hard. Couldn’t speak after running. Then I found this forum and started reading. Just completed W2R1. What a difference! The biggest advice that I’ve received so far with my ‘running’ is to slow down. Got to build up stamina first and the speed/distance will come later.
Good luck with your journey!👍
Well done for taking the challenge. I’m on week 7 Run 2 l’m approx 4.5 st over weight and very unfit when I started and I’ve just finished my second 25 min run well plod really I run approx a 17 min mile so not exactly running but it’s putting one foot in front of the other and sticking to it. Slow and steady wins the race, going off too fast will zap your energy and make you feel like you can’t do it and give up, slow it down and remember building up distance/time running is more important than speed. Good luck. X
Take your time, good luck x
Welcome! 😀 You might feel like you’re struggling a little each week; but you’ll be just fine if you follow the programme, be sure to take rest days, go as slow as you can, then slower still if it feels too much, and most of all have fun!
This is a fab forum, everyone’s so friendly and helpful, and no question is too trivial to ask.
Go get ‘em, and report back to us with how you’re doing! 😀😀👍🏻🏃♀️🏃♂️
