I continue to be amazed at how I progress each week - starting today’s run I thought ‘I only just managed the 5 minute runs, how will I run for 8?!’, but I did it!
When the time was up on the first 8 min run I even felt like I could’ve run a bit longer, and I didn’t feel that I needed all of the 5 min walk inbetween to recover.
The second 8 min run was harder, but I did it - the last minute or so was a killer though!
5 weeks ago I couldn’t run - at all. I got out of breath running for 15 seconds. If you’ve just started your journey on C25k and are feeling like you’re struggling or that it won’t get any better, I am proof you can do it - I’ve gone from struggling to run for 60 seconds in the first sessions to running for 8 mins straight!
Good luck to everyone no matter where you are on your running journey - I’m loving it, and so proud of myself!

Ooh-er, I purposefully don’t look ahead to see what’s coming because I get scared, but I had heard run 3 is longer! I’m doing mine on Friday too (if I have time, if not it’ll be Saturday) so we can celebrate or commiserate together afterwards!
R2W5 Done it! Got up extra early to avoid the heat although it was still hot. First run I was so pleased with myself - second running I was mentally screaming for her to tell me to stop 😫 but I did it! I actually did it! Thank you for your encouragement. Thinking about the next one now 😯
