Well I can't believe it but yesterday I graduated!! So so pleased and proud of myself, never in a million years did I think I could do this. Thanks to this app and Lisa I have actually done it. I have so far been doing all my runs on the treadmill and think maybe now I need to get out there and build some confidence. Thank you all for your support, I can't tell you how happy I am. Is there an app post graduate just to help with the running not to increase distance?
Graduated!!: Well I can't believe it but... - Couch to 5K
Graduated!!
Congratulations!
There’s Strava which many use for tracking and sharing runs, I think it’s about £5 a month to add running plans. Never used them myself but they have a good reputation. Nike Run Club also tracks and trains, and the plans are free. With Nike you lose the ability to share to Strava accounts though, which for some is annoying. A 5k race plan will work on upping your 5k time, but to do that you will run over 5k sometimes, when I looked at it the slower long runs reached 6miles, which is just shy of 10k. Most coaching plans will do this as they work on endurance and speed on different days then put it together in other runs. It does have plans that don’t race prepare but make you a better athletes, not sure how far you’d run with that though.
Well done - great achievement !!
Well done and congratulations 🎉🍾🏃♀️

I played the wk 9 app a few times before I let Jo Whiley go to look after the newbies. Then I downloaded Strava, which is good if you set it up to announce your pace and distance every 500m. It talks over the music on your phone (if that’s the way you do it). I have now bought myself a sports watch which does all sorts of clever things and I tried it out today for the first time. Excellent.
Thanks Dexy5. Didn't realise I could repeat week 9, think I will do that a few times as you do get so used to having someone tell you how far you've come and what's left. Strava sounds good also if I can use it over my music the same as the C25k app. Thanks for the advice. I have bought a fitbit which along tracks distance and pace so all I need now is to get out there lol.
Well done!
Very well done! A great achievement 🙂
