Holy moses, have I lost it? Perusing the Virtual Runner website, hoping there might be an interesting medal later in the year, I found the International Peace Challenge medal. I umm'ed and aah'd about it, because although it looked awesome, it's shaped like a VW camper with all these swirly hippie happy designs on it, it's in September.

I'm already signed up to do The Thunder Run and Rock Your Run (though I swear that when I signed up, Rock Your Run was in October!)

I finally bit the bullet yesterday after I got home from work and now I'm signed up for 3 races in September.

I can do this. I know I can. I've got all month to do Rock Your Run (minimum 10k!) and The Thunder Run (any distance, it's a fun run), but the International Peace is a cumulative over a week - basically see how far I can get in a week then submit the results.

So I think, as September begins on a weekend, I can get the Thunder Run done and out of the way then. Swiftly followed by Rock Your Run in the next week. Leaving me free to focus on the International Peace on my week off from work.

Sounds a bit fab to me.

Well done - remember how it was when we started all those months ago? I bet you never thought you would be running every day & entering 3 races jn a month. So very proud of your achievements Mrs P & you should be too! 😁

I'm getting me some bling envy 😍. You'll have to post a pic of your hardware once it all arrives. The virtual races can get a bit addicting, can't they 😆

yes, they are addictive. It's why I couldn't resist the International Peace medal even though i know I'm going to be knackered at the end of September!

And Yes, I'll share a pic of all my September Bling once I have it all ;)
