So I decided to run through my back ache. Runs are not always about times or distance, some runs are about overcoming your pain and fears. Husband came with me for walking bit; I think he was afraid I’d do something stupid. As I ran away from him (figuratively) I wanted to impress him with my new found athletic ability. I passed him on my return run. Result 5PBs and fastest km. You know when I said it wasn’t about times or distance???? Hot bath for me now!
Happy running peeps! 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♂️

It is definitely one run at a time isn't it?? I am really struggling at the moment - not sure if it's because I have no proper focus other than consolidation, or if I really have lost the will to run! I am still going out 3 times a week and hoping to feel it, but haven't got there yet! And it seems to be more difficult also - whether I push myself to 5k or just do 30 minutes I am finding all of it hard!
Good today thanks. Back loosened up I think. I do feel the same about these runs. I could push myself to 4K but stick to just short. I feel good after, but it does feel like a chore when I’m out there. I think I need to do a park run and try and get a bit of a high again. X
Maybe that's the answer - doing the 5k on Sunday was great, (if difficult and hot!) so perhaps I need to give myself something to aim for - another 5k or perhaps a park run for that high! Glad you're feeling better. x
One positive for me is that although I’ve put on half a stone 🤬 my body has changed shape. Everyone comments on how much weight I’ve lost. And my calves don’t wobble, they have actually toned up a bit. 😊
Hehe fab! I think I probably have toned up as well - my bum is definitely less wobbly lol! I love the idea of it all and I love the fact that I am a runner also which are positives too. x
