Go as slow as you need to, to complete the run.

No such thing as too slow, it's about running for the set time.

Enjoy it, and well done for getting this far🤩

Honestly, you are doing fine, I didn't keep my stats from those runs, I only aimed to complete the run and really only compared my heart rate data.

Now my fitbit has given up the ghost I don't even do that.

How did you feel once you finished the run, before you checked the stats?

I'll bet you felt tired, but great. Forget the figures and enjoy how you felt 🤗

Speed will come later the only way your are too slow is by sitting down. As long as it's the running movement your doing the right thing. Well done on ur run. Xx

I loved completing the first 20 min run I had to go so slow at the end and felt more like I was shuffling. I too feel like I'm slow but my mantra is I don't have to be the fastest I just need to finish. Keep at it and keep smiling. Xx

You can't run too slow. You run as slow as you need to complete the run. We all run at different paces. Don't compare yourself to others! Slow and steady is good! You may find you speed up as you get stronger or more experienced. You may, like me, be a happy snail! You will find your own pace.

And remember that you are required to run for 30 minutes three times in one week to graduate (Week 9). Despite the catchy title of the program C25K, it says nothing about speed or distance. Only running for 30 minutes. Some folks achieve 5km, most do not. But C25K attracts a whole variety of runners (young, old, active, not-so active, men, women, some with various disabilities, some with weight to lose) and so there is no point giving a speed or distance target. But we can all run for 30 minutes by the end of the program.
