I haven’t really posted since I finished the programme, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t kept running!
I turn 38 today and a year ago I can honestly say the thought of getting up early to go for a run would have made me laugh, but today, that’s what I did!
I’m still not fast but I can run (plod) very effectively I think - 35 minutes this morning at 6.15 and it was already hot!
I did do something different this morning, I listened to an audiobook rather than music and I found it much easier to regulate my pace and also not think so much about the actual running!
To celebrate, and as it was so beautiful I ended the run with a cheeky dip in the sea (pic is with ever so supportive hubby who has come with me on every single run I’ve done 💖)!
Happy running everyone!

You mentioned audio book.... it caught my attention, is there an app you can download on your phone for this... is there good choice of audio books to listen to?
I use the Overdrive app from the library and download audiobooks for free. They stay on my phone about a month and then automatically delete. I just needed my library card number. I enjoy audiobooks and podcasts better than music when I run as I find they make the time seem to go faster.
