I'd say only shock absorber classics seem to be any good for larger cup sizes. I have one of the shock absorber fancy range with the lovely colour accents but when I was a bit larger it was no use, just stuck to the classic.
If you can find a cheap, very firm bra please let me know! Bravissimo do a good range, I use their own brand and a Freya bra, both are very good but were both about £35 each.
I got 2 from M&S yesterday for £29.50, their single ones are £20, not done a proper run in them yet, so can’t say how good they are compared to my usual one. I’m a 38DD. X
Debenhams do online! I’m well endowed too & bought one of their sports bras - it’s really nice & comfortable. I did get it at 20% off though. Bravissimo too are very good but pricey. There are a lot of sales on right now - maybe google sports bra sale or something like that. Good luck!
I’ve had good success with the Glamorise brand. I love this one, and use it for horseback riding: Women's Full Figure Elite Performance Adjustable Wonderwire Sports Bra #9167. (It doesn’t actually have wire)I am also a DD, and this one does the trick. I get it through Amazon. Not sure if you can get it over there. Good luck!
I'd thoroughly suggest checking out ebay purely for price (other outlets are available). I have a lot of sports bras and personally like the Shock Absorber 4490, Panache brand, and Freya (Sonic is my fave of theirs). A racer clip is good for runners. Not sure what size they go up to I'm afraid - I'm 28DD so more weird than huge, but at least Freya are "known" for large boobs. Bravissimo, if you have one near, were helpful at suggestions and I would have liked to give them money but they didn't actually stock my size in the bra I wanted! I've got all of mine for under £20 - under £10 in most cases.
If you want some entertainment as well as suggestions, search this forum for "the A to E cup challenge" ( healthunlocked.com/couchto5... ) and the "brafta goes to" threads. (also don't underestimate the gents' contributions, there are a diverse bunch of contributors with all sorts of bodies )
I bought a shock absorber on amazon. Basic and cheap and the only thing that has worked perfectly. No more lower back pain when running weirdly, didn’t know that was connected until certain things were contained. I am a g cup if that helps.
I got a new ultimate running bra from shock absorber last week and it's really good, nothing moves! A lot of department stores have sales at the moment and deliver. Mine was from Debenhams.
I’ve used M and S underwired sports bra, and they’re great, wash well and have lasted brilliantly, which you can’t say about the rest of M and S anymore!
The only one ive ever had that had enough support is shock absorber, I got mine off Amazon its bright pink but was a good price. I run in it and do zumba in it nothing moves 😀and its just great. Love it.
Hi Frennci, I have just purchased a shock absorber from Next online and they go up to a G cup. You have the added advantage of delivery the next day too. It wasn’t too expensive and fits really well. I am really pleased with mine. Good luck
Bravissimo have good bras for larger sizes. They’re not cheap but definitely worth the investment. You don’t want black eyes ! They have shops but are mainly on line.
I love my shock absorber classic, I tried the SA run but it wasn’t as good! You can get it in Debenhams on sale I paid £22. Or try Asos sale, Always size up even the back runs small
Hi I get my bra from Avon its called the one bra thay are cheaper than anywhere I know off.. I'm a top heavy woman so I put two bra's on for extra support. Hope this helps 😁
If you like the one bra look out for the newest version with bamboo fibres, supposed to be more wicking. I use the one bra for work but they do get awful when too damp so will try the new one too. 👍
Keep an eye on Aldi as they can do very good sports gear and a friend says the bra she got was excellent. I fear that it might be worth forking out a few £ though to look after your assets. I asked about sports bras back in the day and some of the well endowed ladies advised that they wore x2 bras to batten down the hatches (so to speak). In this heat, I feel their pain but depending on size, this might be an idea?
