I hope everyone doesn’t mind me posting a photo off my recent local charity half marathon walk 😊as i was so chuffed at completing it with my daughter in law , who is super fit!! We were even up front alk the way ! Ok only 8 off us but i was oldestπŸ˜‚ However the reason behind it is it is C25k that started me off on my fitness journey in 2016 & i have twice graduated & returned again recently & i am in week7 , yahoo nearly done again😊, the problem has always been sticking to running after the program as i missed the structure. Ive never left you guys/ladies & follow regularly & im determined to stay on track after this graduation, as i will get there !!πŸ˜‚ Think its lots more consolidation runs & not putting too much pressure on me to better times & distance too quick! This is a fantastic forum so keep going everyone if i can do it at 61 anyone can & on a plus note i never returned to the couch, walk daily & following c25k again & this time ive added swimming & cycling to help strengthen my legs to hopefully get my 5 k run againπŸ˜ŠπŸƒπŸ»β€β™€οΈEnjoy your running journey everyone its great!!😊

Me too, I've had a few set backs this year so I'm building back up to 5k - my daughter is still running and is keeping my motivation up.

Very good! I enjoyed reading that. Your post exuded positivity. Sounds like a fab idea. Walking is brilliant isn’t it Great cross training too. Plus, it’s free 😁

There is plenty of structured running beyond Couch to 5k ! C25k+ podcasts for starters, and the bridge to 10k with our very own Ju-Ju. If you hop over to the 10k community you can find out about it from the lady herself, as she does a weekly talkie bit on her home made video clip πŸ˜ƒ. The programme is called 10 is the magic number and it’s free to all here

Keep running, doing all your other sports and have fun πŸ’ͺπŸ‘πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜ƒ

Ju-Ju graduated same as the rest of us. She is super-friendly and leads from the front. You will feel supported on your sessions and have lots of others here doing the same thing, so can compare notes. Great, free fun too πŸ‘πŸ˜ƒ
