Been lurking for a while, so about time for me to say ‘hi’...

Just completed W4R2 for the second time, as I’m repeating week 4 after a bit of a disaster on holiday last week during W4R3. Was it the borrowed shoes? Lacklustre warm up? Different treadmill? Bad luck? Voodoo from a waiter who thought the tip I gave wasn’t large enough? Don’t know, but W4R3 went seriously awry... Still, R2 repeat went ok today at the gym, back on home turf, although some beggar was on *my* treadmill so had to use second, scratch that, third favourite! Fingers crossed R3 turns out ok the day after tomorrow (or thereabouts).

Still amazed that I can ‘run’ as ‘long’ as that (even when it’s not after an ice cream van) and that’s all thanks to C25K and the encouraging, warm, funny posts on here from various people (I hope you know who you are, folks).

Anyone that thinks they can’t do it - and I know a lot of people say this, but - if I can do it *anyone* can!

Wish me luck for W4R3 when I get to it. I may need it!!

Good luck! I’m sure you won’t need it - well done on being motivated enough to run on holiday - I didn’t!

Thanks!! I knew if I didn’t do it, I’d probably end up starting all over again from W1R1... 😂🤣

No luck needed... just you and the legs... slow and steady as you go :)

The gym I go to hangs a moist tea towel in an open window, so it stays *really* cool 🤣

And there’s me thinking people who run in a gym are so lucky because it’s all air conditioned 🤣🤣🤣

They say if it gets really hot, one of the trainers will blow on the tea towel.
