You don’t need to start the whole programme again of course: just take a rest day then re-do the run you didn’t finish. No need to repeat the ones you’ve successfully completed.

Keep on keeping on, it's just a glitch. Maybe consider time of day you're running at? Drink lots the day before. I'm making an effort to drink more in his heat and it's working. I've just been drinking plain water mainly.

For me week 4 was horrid too - not sure why??! I think the weather affected me and running speed. Slow it down and repeat that run. Good luck - sure you’ll smash it second time round. 💪🏼

Yesterday afternoon I did wk4 run2, which I never thought I'd be running for 5mins a time. Listen to the coach words, if you find it a little tougher slower you pace & concentrate on your breathing.

Think positive thoughts YOU CAN DO THIS

Xx good luck xx

It’s a glitch, nothing more, nothing less. See if there were any obvious obstacles you can change but mainly just put it behind you and try again. You can do this (and no one’s judging if it takes more than one attempt to nail that run) Good Luck

You can do it ! Week 4 was my nemesis but i got through it. The heat is a a real killer at the moment so i’m running at 5.30am to avoid it. Make sure you’re running sloooow and you’re well hydrated - drink plenty of water the day before. Keep those mental gremlins in check! Repeat a run if necessary but stick to the programme and you’ll be great!

Keep going. I know exactly how you feel it happened to me exactly same time. I got upset and frustrated that my body just didn’t want to do it. I had a full week off to let my legs recover fully then started week 4 again. You don’t need to go back to the start. I’m now week 8 so it’s dont loose spirit. You’ll get there !

I did wk4 run 1 on Tuesday having been out and got proper running trainer (had been wearing my netball ones) and my ankle is still absolutely killing me (its now Friday) did the ice/ elevation thing but its just no getting any better - trip to the doc needed I think - should be able to get an appt in September 😀 anyone got any advice on whats good to use to support it when I get back out there?

Hi, I have a long time knee problem, and beginning to run has made it flare up a bit (I’m also on Week 4).

I bought a stretchy support from Amazon, and that seems to help - it doesn’t squeeze it so much that I can’t run, but it gives extra support around the joint.

The one I bought is called Pure Support Knee Support - maybe something similar for the ankle would help?

I hope you manage to get back running soon 🙂

Hi. I finished week 4 on Thursday and can honestly say that it was the only one I thought I had some chance for that week. I kept going on the other two but not sure how. I think it's a horrible week. What helped me to keep running was thinking 'if I finish this one I am one run closer to moving on to another and, although the week 5 are all 5 min runs, there are only 3 of them and longer cool down walks in between' Keep it up and good luck
