When I get into pace it’s ok but when I start I have to talk myself that I can do it enjoying it really don’t know what I will do when I get to end it’s good to have goal what would you suggest just like to have new goal

A lot of us have to go through that self-talk before or during a run. The gremlins want to drag you back into their comfort zone and not do this mad, risky running thing.

Don’t worry too far into the future. We’ll talk you through all of that when it needs thinking about.

Make your goal the next run. Aim to be as relaxed as you can when you run and just focus on each step, each breath, keeping going.
