Went out to try a morning run today as I did it once before and it didn’t feel good, I usually run late evening. It felt harder, I’m not going to lie, but I got through it. 4.9km in 35 mins. Gutted as good old Strava told me I’d covered 5km 😠😂.

Week 8 next 😁😁👍...I’m loving this running lark!

Well done.

But why are you running 35 minutes in W7? Voluntary extra work? Madness. Another one with the bug! 🤣

Not actually running 35 mins, that’s just the time I’m moving for - 5 min warm-up walk, 25 min run, 5 min warm-down walk. Trust me, I’m not doing any ‘extra’!! I set Strava from the second I leave my house and stop it when I stop moving i.e. when I get back home 😁

Well done Blonde! Every run is so different isn’t it, but we are doing it and you’re doing a brilliant job of it too! It’s amazing! ❤️❤️

Well done you, that's brilliant. I quite like the morning runs, they set me up for the day and I feel like I've made a positive start. I did wk 8 run 2 this am. Ignored the 28mins and did 5.10k in 35mins. I was always a sprinter at school. The cross country haunted me and I detested the 1500m lol now look at us all go. I think it's awesome

Yeah I always allow an extra :1 for Strava who likes to trim your distances. Well done anyway

Hmm! I’ll bear that in mind. I’m not that bothered about the distance I’m covering but I did get a little excited when I was told I’d done 5k just as I got home, only to discover when reviewing my stats that I’d in fact covered 4.9k! Lol 😂
