I graduated a month ago and am consolidating my very new skills by mixing up and re-doing the runs from the last three weeks. What bothers me, though, is that I honestly can’t say I ever get this runner’s high that people talk about getting at the end of a run! I just feel knackered! And thoughts/advice?

I don’t know how it happens for me. It’s usually the first time I do a longer run.
Are you generally quite fit? It may be that you need a very long run to trigger it.

Slow down.........or maybe push much harder.
If you do an online search there is a recipe for achieving a runner's high in some wiki or other.
Some unlucky would never do experience the buzz of running.......you have my sympathy.

Runner’s highs can be really good, happened to me this morning however as a result of the said high I then did a load of housework - and exhausted myself. If they make you do silly things, like housework, than they’re not all that they’re cracked up to be. So don’t stress about it, they make you do silly things!! 😱🌻
