Eek - first Park Run!

I’m visiting family in Bristol this weekend and scheduled to do W9 run 2. I was with my (30 year old, sports therapist & fit) daughter who suggested we do a park run. Gulp - first 5k, could I do it?

Woke up this morning to grey, windy & quite chilly weather - much nicer for running than hot sunshine. I was still very apprehensive as we set off .... I really shouldn’t have worried. Everyone was so supportive & lovely (aren’t runner great?!).

Completed the run in 37 minutes & came 5th in my age group!! I was on such a high afterwards - I am so hooked on running & will definitely do more Park Runs.

Graduation podium beckons next week.

Happy weekend everyone 😀
