Yesterday I did W6R2 and for some reason had heavy legs. Despite that I got through it. Today is a rest day before the 25min W6R3 tomorrow and I am feeling a few twinges in my achile's tendon. I think an extra day recovery might be in order. Don't want to go into a big run carrying a slight injury and come out worse. What do you think?

Always listen to your body. An extra rest day is never a bad thing. You are probably dehydrated by this heatwave.
I believe there may be some stretches you can do for your Achilles but I am not an expert so you might be wise to see a physio - damaging those is a long recovery.
