I completed the second run of week 3 this morning. A minor panic ensued when I realised my son had taken my earbuds to school with him so I had to search around for something suitable (cue headphones and sweaty ears 🤢).
It didn’t seem as hard as run 1 but I think that seems to be a pattern with me - run1 hardest, run 2 easier and run 3 harder. I did start with a stitch towards the end of the second 90 second run today so I had to reign myself in a little.
But I’m still going. I’m following the programme, keep doing the yoga on the in between days to stretch and strengthen, and keep aiming for a graduation in 9 weeks.

Yup, I know I need to go slow - maybe I let enthusiasm get the better of me this morning!
I’ve got more energy than I’ve had in a long time, I’m eating better and sleeping better. It’s like this programme has give me a new lease of life...but I wonder if I’ll be saying the same once the ‘bigger’ challenges start?!
Yes you will providing you don’t burn out first. Rome wasn’t built in a day, nor were running legs 😃
Yes, you will sleep better and feel more energised if you eat/drink the right things and get plenty of sleep. You get very aware of this stuff when you start running further You’ll want to eat well to support your running
The longer runs are great. Slowly, slowly and exploring pastures new I loved the process. I hope you will too Arrange it when you have time so there is no rushing 👍😃🏃♂️
