W5R2 complete! I may have indulged in an ice cream cone earlier on in the afternoon which wasn't fully digested by the time I went my run...had a bit of the boak during my 2nd 8 minute running block ๐คข not exactly setting myself up for success haha! Pretty good so far thanks. I've completed week 3. Still not smoking. I've turned into that person who crosses the rd if I smell smoke! Really looking forward to each run. Next week looks a tad daunting though!

Thanks mate. My lungs don't feel as shocked and I think my capacity is improving although that may be wishful thinking! One weird thing my health app seems to think my calories burnt is decreasing. Strange. Maybe I'm just getting more efficient! Hmm wishful thinking again. I agree the plan does work.

Try not to be nervous as felling nervous uses energy, the most important thing I learnt was to get your breathing right.
Try to relax and get your breathing into a nice steady rhythm. Take a nice deep breath in through your mouth (not too quickly) and then purse your lips slightly as you exhale. Imagine youโre body is like a machine and the oxygen your taking on board is your fuel. If you do this you wonโt feel so out of breath as your taking in sufficient oxygen. It helped me get through the longer runs, hopefully itโll help you too.
