Omg...week 7 R1 ..that was hor...

Yes definitely!!! I found W7R1 the hardest & wasn’t expecting to as I quite enjoyed W6. It was the run I had to repeat, but also got me on this forum so that was a positive. I did much better on W8 but crashed again on W9. Now on enforced rest due to thigh ache but looking forward to getting back out at the w’end. It’s good to remember how far you’ve come & not give yourself a hard time over the practice runs (never a fail - learnt that here!). Keep on running😉

I seem to remember I quite enjoyed W7 but it’s also possible that I hated it and forgot (in the same way some people manage to have more than one child).
Love those shoes.
😂😂 That did make me laugh Jay! The one child thing. I’ve only got one - I must have a good memory.....

Oooooh yes indeed. Week 7 put me through the mangle. It’ll get easier though . Put in mind what you’ve just gone through for your next run and say to yourself “I’m just going to plod on with this one. Slow and steady slow and steady . Save the juice so to speak” your doing fantastic 👍. I sometimes give myself 2 days rest when I started hitting the week 7 mark if I found one particular run a killer. The heat kills me so like today I hauled my ass out of bed and did my run before it got to bad .

Just gone back and re-checked my memories. R1 hard. R2 harder. R3 good.
Me I have 2 tries at it and only seem to manage 18 mins not been out since sat totally knocked my confidence I will hopefully get out running on Thursday morning tho. X
Ah don’t be disheartened- as I said above - I’m struggling with the 30 mins post-grad runs - you’ll get there - honestly. Everyone on here has had a not so good run (there are no “bad” runs in my book - running is running) I bet you will smash it next time out. Good luck.

We've all lost a peg or two along the way. We've all shrivelled inside when other people didn't. We're human. Which is kind of nice. It doesn't always feel like it at the time tho.
Take your repair day. Drink loads. You'll come back and beat up this run, nick its dinner money and buy WINE with it.
You're a runner!! xxx
I did that with W9. Thought I’d be OK - I’m never confident enough to think it’ll be easy - but I thought with W9 being only 2 minutes longer than W8 I wouldn’t have any trouble with it. I was wrong! Struggled through W9 & am still struggling with 30 min runs but I’m gonna keep at it til I get them under control & clock up5k. Well done for getting through it. You got this. You’ll smash it next time out I bet.

Can’t help but look in awe at people like you who have Graduate after them...soooo impressed.😄. ..but hey i’ve made it to wk 7 so maybe it is possible to go the whole way even it had gotten so much harder 🤞🤞🤞. Thanks for the support
Ah - thank you! I certainly don’t feel awesome right now - I’m struggling with the post-grad runs - I find it weird not having Laura spurring me on but some people prefer it. You’ll get there soon enough don’t worry.

For me it was W6, R3 that was the killer!! Have since done W7, R1 & 2 and thoroughly enjoyed this morning's run. 25mins this time seemed a breeze, but I'm expecting a few more bumps in the road along the way, ha, ha.
Good for u Jan..i suppose it depends on the form ur in on the day too...hope i’ll wake up fresh a a daisy on Thurs 🤞
