Early morning run on holiday!! 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞 so hot!!!

Just did my first early morning run. On holiday in Pembrokeshire and it was already boiling by 7 so off i went, barely awake and feeling pessimistic.. long car journey yesterday = not well hydrated today. But it was lovely! Ran along the waters edge, did a proper hill. Went really slowly and only ran 3.2k in the half hour but hadn't run since Monday so it was slow and steady all the way. Was so good to run somewhere new! And did it without music or time updates - forgotten my headphones!

Well no. The road runs right alomg tje edge of the water. No sand just tidal mud! 😊

It is hot here in pembs this morning, im doing race for life next week in hwest and im hoping itll be slightly cooler but its looking unlikely xx

Oh i love Guernsey! I celebrated my 50th there last year. Second visit. Go to Herm and Sark. Just beautiful! Lots of flat running along the north coast road of Guernsey and the seafront of st peter port is also flat! Have a great time! Post a pic!!

Thanks Ang. It is so beautiful there, but I have seen quite a lot of steep roads Ang! 😬 I’m working and I haven’t ventured further than St Peter Port on my trips so far, but I hope to go with my son for a longer spell in holiday mode and take the trip to Sark and Herm!! Thanks for the recommendation.

I’m certainly going to try to see if I can get to run along the sea front. That would be quite something! Fingers crossed W7 is another amazing experience! 😁😁❤️

You can run quite a long way if you go left on the sea front in st peter port. Easily fit in 30 mins with views. Lovely flat wide pavements.
