So, having run an actual 5k on Sunday morning (W10R3 as it were), I decide on a gentle pootle this evening. Still missing Laura, I went for the Headspace evening run (25minutes) offered by Mrs Nike Run thingy. Having set off along the mill stream past a group of very noisy scouts I quickly discovered that once again (see previous encounter with Headspace) there would be a lot of listening to Andy and the other bloke wittering on about meditation rather than much time for actual meditation. I never learn.
Rather warmish this evening even at dusk; lots of humans and ducklings about, with the wildlife highlight a scampering rat. I did run the last five minutes “faster” however. Who knew the human body could withstand such speed?
