I walked this route yesterday. It seemed quite flat... it isn't. The whole route was either up or down! A mix of tracks along the river and quiet road. Was hard to judge pace going up or down so much and we were faster than usual! Enjoyed it! I think everyone was watching football as we had the paths to ourselves! Got back to see England score their 2nd goal!β½πππ

Totally get this! You don't know there's a hill on your route, no matter how often you take it, until you run it. π The small incline that isn't worthy of mentioning becomes a Munro suddenly.

Lovely to read that you enjoyed it. Long may that continue. I certainly agree that hills make a massive difference.
Well done Ang! π Iβm still avoiding any kind of incline! π

Well done Ang. Glad you had a good run despite the hills. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger right?! β°β°β°

Congrats on a successful run! I expect those hills sprang up after youβd walked the route!
