Any advice after ankle sprain please?

Hi, I completed W5R3 without any apparent injuries, but several hours later started to feel pain in the soft tissue around my ankle. I limped around a bit for a day or so then thought it would be ok to start W6. BIG MISTAKE! It is easing off now but still hobbling around after 5 days. (My own fault I know!) My question is when I get back to the programme, should I start where I left off or go back and repeat a week or two? Any advice would be appreciated πŸ˜€

Only you can tell when you get back. You lose very little condition in two weeks, after that it becomes more noticeable.

When I turned my ankle last year, l did not run for nearly a month, but cycling was beneficial as it kept the ankle mobile in one plane without any load bearing.
