I'm still to manage week 1 and I was just wondering if people eat before their run, what they eat and how long before the run? I will generally run in the mornings and have a small turnaround from waking up to leaving for work.

Morning, I also run in the morning & I don’t eat anything beforehand. I do have a cup of tea & drink quite a bit of water. I usually have b’fast an hour or so after running. I think I would get a stitch if I ate before running but we’re all different. Maybe a banana after your run - I think Laura suggests that? Good luck🙂
I find that an ongoing battle! I’m trying not to snack & to stick to home cooked food. Not always easy but I’m definitely doing better than I was 7 weeks ago. I find small changes easier to stick to. Good luck with it all. Forum really helps & is very supportive. 🙂
Not necessarily a recommendation, but generally I don’t eat anything before an early morning run, sometimes only a cup of coffee to wake me up or if I am a bit more virtuous , a glass of water, whatever makes you feel comfortable
We are all so different... my regime, since I started running... two digestive lights and a cuppa about 45 mins before I head out... and a sip of water just before leaving the house
