I was supposed to complete this run on Saturday, and took my running things with me on my long weekend in London, but alas, it was not to be. Too much walking, a too comfy Premier Inn bed, and far too much food put a stop to that idea. It knocked my motivation a bit of I’m honest and I wasn’t looking forward to today, but off I went anyway. I was having one of those heavy leg days and was going at a much slower pace than usual according to MapMyRun, and yet when I got to the halfway point of my last run, Jo and the bell weren’t appearing. I carried on a bit thinking she must be close, but then decided to have a peek at my phone. It turns out the app had paused itself at around the 14 minute mark when I had received and declined a PPI phone call, so I had run further than I needed to. On restarting the app, I decided to just carry on until Jo told me to stop and I ended up doing around 34 minutes in total.
Back to 30 mins on Thursday, if the app decides to play ball!
