Due to work commitments I had resigned myself that run 1 would need to wait until this Wednesday but this morning I found myself with a couple of hours spare and last minute decided i can fit it in.
So with a little panic I headed to the gym and half heartedly did some stretches but hadn’t mentally prepared myself as I usually do.
Well it was tough - the first 5 minutes I contemplated giving up and delaying until Wednesday but I carried on through until the end but didn’t enjoy it like I normally do .
So Wednesday I am back on track and will ensure I’m mentally and physically prepared for run 2 as it makes a difference.

I did W5R2 this lunchtime also (am 2hrs ahead of UK). I do not like to run late but commitments require that my sessions are sometimes later than I would like. I did not get that "yeah bring it on" feeling today, actually felt a little flat over the session and I hope it does not bode bad for the rest of the week. 20 mins seems daunting to be honest but am sure I can do it, its just the willpower that will fail if anything though I may have some gym company which will spur me on!
