Thanks Elfe5. I’ve the podcast download and kit ready- my gym is closed for refurb until Juky 3rd and I’ve a bigbwaking holiday coming up in September so I’m going to try to be on the prom at 6am. Am I right I should leave a day in between so say run Mon/Wed/Fri?

Yes, always have a rest day between runs and go slowly- there’s no rush. Read the pinned post for new starters - lots of excellent information.

Good luck! Keep posting so we can cheer for you!😄

I’m doing my second run in the morning before work ... looking forward to it! What time you setting off? I will go at about 6am. Go for it! Someone said to me that the only workouts you ever regret are the ones you didn’t do 😊

What a lovely idea to run on the prom! They are usually nice and flat and a sea view is priceless! Which prom is it?

Go slow. If you can’t hold a conversation while you run you are going too fast. Enjoy!

Just go for it. Don't be like me and dither about for ages. Just take it at your own pace and tap into the forum for plenty of encouragement and advice. Let us know how you got on.
