Hi all! Just thought I'd check back in. Did my first run here in Spain yesterday and I enjoyed it so much. I live in Alicante and I ran the length of the 1km beach (on the path, not the sand!) and it was so fab. It was actually a challenge to stop myself going out on today's rest day. Looking forward to finishing week 2 and continuing on with c25k. Hope you're all well!

Haha pot I promise it's still cold here! I'm sat in 3 blankets with a space heater right now. Thank you!

How lovely, lucky you! Well done on completing W1, I know it's tempting but your muscles need their rest days...

Hi Katy

Glad to hear it's going well. Make sure you take your rest day. It's the law!

Just run slowly, take your time and you'll have enough puff to get round and finish the job

Enjoy yourself!

Thanks misswobble! I definitely run slowly but as long as I'm going I'm proud of myself :-)

Thank you curlygurly, finished week 2 now too! Definitely going to keep the rest days because I really want to succeed in this. Thanks for your support!

hi katy - keep posting! I've just finished week 2, start week 3 next Monday. Can't match Alicante - I'm watching my walls as I use my crosstrainer. The idea of running along a seaside promenade is a good one, though!

Both nervous and excited about week 3, gonna start that on Sunday! Only thing with running down there is there are other people running too and you see them running without stopping but I try to just ignore it - one day we'll all get there! Well done on finishing week 2 :-)

That's the spirit! You will get there if you follow the course, not long now, the time will fly!!

Don't worry about other folks! Also don't worry about stopping.

Experienced runners in races have stops to get their breath back. The break can make a world of difference, so don't knock it

I was running today and I stopped for breathers and to blow my nose.

Not what you're looking for?
