..... and Sarah Millican.
Three hours later and I fully expected to be in a bit of pain, but only the usual age related twinges and niggles. Didn't help that I managed to set my music app to shuffle only one track and then the run timer paused with 40 seconds to go on the first run, I reckon I ran an extra minute before I realised something was up. No more tunes, I'm happy enough trying to see how accurately I can count the running time in my head.
And no more Sarah Millican - I had hoped she would spur me on with a tirade of profanities so Michael Johnson is up next.
My running style has changed already. I'm seriously heavy on my heels, even just walking my footwear takes a pounding and my first couple of runs were no different. This morning however I found I was spreading the weight on my feet as they hit the ground a little more forward, which helped enormously.
I'm also enjoying this much more than I expected, even though I'm plodding away much slower than I'd imagined I would be before I started. We'll see how I am after run 3 .... I'll report back on Wednesday
