Our little running group is growing, and yesterday we had more newbies joining us for Couch to 5k.
I was amazed at how my fitness levels are already improving: while I was clock watching in run 1, I was surprised when run 3 was over as I felt I could have gone on longer.
I've looked ahead at weeks 2 and 3 and there is a steep uplift in running length in week 3 so I want to build up my stamina ahead of it. I'm going to repeat W1R3 over the weekend, and then do 4 runs on week 2 next week. Hopefully week 3 will seem less daunting then 😂

You can repeat W1R3 and add an extra run on week 2 if you want to, but just to reassure you: you don't *need* to. The runs in weeks 1 and 2 are enough to get you to the point where you can do week 3, despite the change in length of runs. Good luck with it!
You REALLY need to ensure you have a rest day from running after every running day. And as thegirlfrommarz says you do not need to do any extra runs at all - the programme will get you there on 3 runs a week. Enjoy!
