Near fatal treadmill accident and struggle with wk 6 r 1

OK ..I exaggerate...but confused myself and set treadmill way too high..found out that snailspeed is the right pace for me..if I had any illusions before I don't now..I nearly came off treadmill..

So..why after getting thru 20 mins run on Saturday did I struggle just now with the intervals of five and eight ?

My theory is that on Saturday I psyched myself up with 2 rest days and getting up at 6am ..getting on treadmill feeling fresh as a daisy..today I have been at work all day after two bad night's sleep...I think it doesn't take much to challenge an unfit body at this stage..maybe ?? Also perhaps overconfident and began just slightly faster..not much tho...still running slower than I walk most of the time..manage to get to about 6.3 kph to finish last 60 secs ..but way slower most of the timeπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ’πŸ’πŸ€©

Well done for being in W6 to start with. Glad that there were no major injuries.

I’m 6’6” and when I look in the mirror at my feet it scares the hell out of me. They look like they are always a couple of inches away from ablivion πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚

Yep, all of those reasons would do it plus W6r1 is a notorious tripper upper of people - look in Topics at Week 6. And in total week 6 is 24 minutes plus the 5 min warm up, so actually longer than w5r3. You did it! YaayπŸ˜„ W6r2 next - you got this πŸ‘
