Haven’t posted for a while as on hols. I thought I wouldn’t post to gloat but beach running 🏃♂️ is FANTASTIC!! Also a lot less stress and strains on the legs!! Will be starting W8 the day after tomorrow. Can’t wait !! 😉🏃♂️🏃♂️👍

I also would of thought sand would make running 🏃 a bit hard. Will surely try a beach run this week now 😉

Fabulous ...what a beautiful place... and is terrific..but... ( there's always a but.. ) although it is great and the sand feels firm and dry.. the strain on our calf muscles is there... It was one of the things which my Physio would not allow me to do for a long time after an injury..IannodaTruffe also explained why...there are benefits..but the whole thing like everything else should be done slowly and safely.
I am trying not not to be a kill joy , just want to keep you safe...and I have run along the beach this year:)..Just be steady..

Taken on board! I’ve done two runs now and it feels good but I’m definitely keeping it Slow and Steady. I don’t run 🏃♂️ until I’m on the firm sand, barely a footprint 👣😀👍 I’ll have a read through the info you’ve kindly sent. Thanks again for keeping us all well informed.
